There must be a trick to it? Topologically, it's impossible.

ok...I give up. What's the trick? I'm probably going to feel like an idiot. I can't figure it out.

neither can i, and i've thought of some off the wall ideas, like having one line to go to two houses, and whatnot.

The trick only works in Windows.

You abuse the context menu:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=supuzzle&search=Search

In Firefox, the context menu doesn't stop the pointer tracking. So even with the menu up you'll be drawing the line and will fire off the errors for crossing the lines and such.

In Safari, it does, but then it causes an odd effect where the line gets drawn in a right angle off the edge of the screen. You might be able to use that to the same end as in Firefox or IE on Windows, but I didn't have the patience to try to work that out.
